
CHAMPSGY Goes Live — Guyana's First Competitive Gaming Platform Has Arrived

The road to the Argentina Games 2026 starts here. CHAMPSGY is accepting registrations for the National Qualifier in EA FC 26, Valorant, and Sim Racing.
The Argentine Games 2026 will include esports disciplines for the first time, and Guyana has confirmed three titles in its official delegation: EA FC 26, Valorant (5v5), and Sim Racing. CHAMPSGY has been appointed as the qualifying body by the Guyana Olympic Association, and registrations for the National Qualifier are now open.
**EA FC 26** — 1v1 format. The qualifier runs as a single elimination bracket with online rounds leading to a live final in Georgetown. Top 3 qualify for national team trials. Platform: PS5 and PC cross-platform. Registration: free, Guyanese citizens 16+ only.
**Valorant (5v5)** — Teams of five compete in a Best-of-3 format across three qualifier weekends. The top 2 teams advance to trials. Platform: PC. Registration: free, teams must have at least 3 Guyanese passport holders.
**Sim Racing** — Time trial format with three official qualifying sessions. Top 6 times qualify for a live final. Platform: Gran Turismo 7 (PS5) and F1 25 (PC). Registration: free, open to all Guyanese residents 16+.
Go to champs.gy/tournaments and filter by "National Qualifier." Each discipline has its own registration page. You will need a verified CHAMPSGY account with a confirmed Guyanese address and government-issued ID on file. Registration closes June 1, 2025.
Qualifier rounds run June through July 2025. The live final events will be held in Georgetown during the last weekend of July. National team selections will be announced in August.
