Game Modes
Tournaments use Swiss-system pairings or single elimination brackets. All matches played on Chess.com or Lichess with arbiter oversight.
Rapid
Ranked10+5 (10 minutes + 5-second increment). The standard competitive format for online Chess tournaments.
Blitz
Ranked3+2 (3 minutes + 2-second increment). Fast-paced games that test speed and pattern recognition.
Bullet
Ranked1+0 (1 minute, no increment). Hyper-speed games where pre-moves and time management are everything.
Classical
Ranked15+10 (15 minutes + 10-second increment). Deep strategic play with time to calculate.

Platform
All matches must be played on Chess.com or Lichess (specified by tournament host). Share the match link as proof.
Time Controls
Time control is set by the tournament host. Both players must agree on the correct time control before starting.
Fair Play
No engine assistance, tabbing to analysis boards, or receiving move suggestions. Violations result in permanent ban.
Disconnections
Clock continues during disconnection. If a player disconnects and their clock runs out, it's a loss.
Draws
Draws are replayed in elimination formats. In Swiss/Round Robin, draws award 0.5 points to each player.
